The Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism (DBEDT) is recruiting Hawai‘i companies to promote and sell Hawai‘i-made products at the Autumn 2023 Tokyo International Gift Show (TIGS).

We are excited to announce our first video release in Innovate Hawaii’s supply chain resiliency training series! Innovate Hawaii has partnered with Vessel to create supply chain educational content geared towards food manufacturers in Hawaii.

Funded in part through a Grant with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), the Hawaii State Trade Expansion Program, or HISTEP, assists Hawaii small businesses with their export development. DBEDT is organizing and recruiting Hawai‘i companies for the Hawai‘i Pavilions at the two trade shows in March 2023:

The Hawaiʻi State Trade Expansion Program (HiSTEP) has officially launched for 2023!  Funded in part through a Grant with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), the Hawaii State Trade Expansion Program, or HISTEP, assists Hawaii small businesses with their export development. The HiSTEP Company Assistance (HiSTEP-CA) provides financial assistance to eligible individual Hawaii companies to support their export development activities.

The Department of Business, Economic Development & Tourism (DBEDT) has announced that the application deadline for the 2021 HiSTEP – Company Assistance program has been extended until September 30, 2021.

The Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism (DBEDT) is presenting ‘The Alibaba Business Workshop’, a one-day seminar for those interested in marketing their products in China. The workshop, which features Tmall Global operated by the Alibaba Group Holding Limited (Alibaba Group), will be held on February 9, 2021 from 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on a Zoom webinar. The event is free and open to the public.
