Annual BIO International Convention

The annual BIO International Convention, the world’s largest business and exhibition event for biotechnology, attracts more than 15,000 business leaders, scientists, executives, investors and industry leaders from over 60 countries. The BIO One-on-One Partnering™ system is the most efficient way for companies to find potential matches and set up face-to-face private meetings. Funded in part through a grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration, DBEDT is leading the way to promote export and investment opportunities for Hawaii life sciences companies by participating in BIO.

About the Hawaii Pavilion

DBEDT organizes an island of six booths (600 sq. ft.) for 6 to 8 Hawaii life sciences companies to create a Hawaii Pavilion at BIO. Companies will be assigned an area within the pavilion where they can display information and conduct meetings. There is a small participation fee, and companies are responsible for their own travel expenses.
