The following is a list and description of some of the community-based projects in Hawaii’s Opportunity Zones that are seeking Opportunity Fund investment. These project descriptions should not be construed as any financial or investment solicitation, advice, recommendation, or guarantee by the State of Hawaii. Brief Description of the Business: DREAMHOUSE, INC. is a local 501(c)(3) non-profit that was founded in 2013 to support the launch and growth of DREAMHOUSE ‘EWA BEACH Public Charter School, which launched in August 2019 with the mission of developing local, homegrown leaders for our island community. The school opened with a 6th grade of 100 children and holds a charter with the State of Hawai‘i to grow one year at a time to eventually become a grades 6-12, 700-student, middle and high school. DREAMHOUSE, INC. is responsible for “Fundraising, Friendraising, and Facilities” to support the growth and success of the charter school.
