Here you will find links that connect you to Hawaii’s digital literacy site providing access to the Northstar digital literacy and assessment, Linkedin Learning and Coursera. A brief description of these resources are provided for you below. This page also provides you with access to online remote work opportunities designed specifically for Hawaii residents. Each remote work provider has a description listing the type of remote work opportunity they provide as well as the link to register for these services. If you need any assistance with the program, please contact the American Job Center in your county. You will find their contact information listed below.
Remote Work Opportunities
Fully funded by the State of Hawaii, the Instant Teams Remote Ready Hawaii Program will offer free Sales and Customer Support training to qualifying candidates. The goals behind the program are to elevate digital and remote skill readiness and to prepare residents for remote employment prospects with the long-term goal of decreasing the Hawaiian unemployment rates by preparing a modern workforce ready for remote work opportunities. All accepted applicants are offered a PAID remote internship that includes training in line with the chosen specialty allowing for real-world experience and career prep – all from the comfort of your home!
Upon graduation from the program, you will work directly with the Instant Teams Recruitment team to find the right remote work opportunity for you so that you. You will be joining top-notch remote workers from around the globe who are employed by Instant Teams in remote customer support service or business development roles. All opportunities with Instant Teams are W-2, benefited positions.

Northstar Digital Literacy tests your computer skills. You can build skills in key areas and demonstrate your knowledge by earning certificates and badges.
Through a partnership with LinkedIn Learning, qualifying Hawaii residents can earn micro certificates and badges that demonstrate their skills to the world of employers.
