Created by the Hawaiʻi Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism (DBEDT), our site directory lists local retailers, restaurants, farmers and manufacturers all in one place, so shoppers know exactly where to look to find products that are made in Hawaii.

Hawaiʻi businesses that make more than 75% of their total product offerings in Hawaiʻi can apply online to be listed in our company directory.

Made in Hawaiʻi is a free online resource that promotes Hawaiʻi businesses and Hawaiʻi-made products. Created by the Hawaiʻi Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism, our site directory lists local retailers, restaurants, farmers and manufacturers all in one place, so shoppers in Hawaiʻi, on the Mainland and overseas know exactly where to look to find products that are made in Hawaiʻi.

“Made In Hawaiʻi” celebrates the best of products manufactured in Hawaiʻi.

  • When you purchase something made in Hawaiʻi, you are giving aloha to the business owner by supporting their local business and employees;
  • You are supporting the local economy and community when you make the effort to buy Hawaiʻi made products;
  • When you gift something made in Hawaiʻi, you are sharing a special item and your aloha with the receiver of your gift.

Legislation was passed on July 6, 2021 (SB 263 / Act 2) transferring oversight of the “Hawaiʻi Made” program for manufactured products and the “Hawaiʻi Made” trademark to the Department of Business Economic Development and Tourism.

Since Buy Hawaiʻi Give Aloha was already established as a portal for Hawaiʻi-made goods, Buy Hawaiʻi Give Aloha has evolved to Made In Hawaiʻi to reflect the new administration and management of the State’s Made in Hawaiʻi program and trademark.

Manufacturers and marketplaces with online shopping and products that meet the requirements to be labeled Made in Hawaiʻi set forth in §486-119, Hawaiʻi Revised Statutes (HRS) will be posted on the Made In Hawaiʻi portal site. Companies listing on the Made In Hawaiʻi portal site should have at least 75% of their total product offering being made in Hawaiʻi, as defined by §486-119, HRS. Restaurants and farm delivery companies, as well as companies manufacturing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in Hawaiʻi, are also welcome to register. Companies may register here.

Hawaiʻi-based vendors and manufacturers help to sustain our local economy by creating more jobs for local residents. Many shoppers here and overseas understand this and want to purchase authentic Hawaiʻi-made products.
