Join the 2020 FABEX Japan Hawaii Pavilion in Tokyo, Japan

The Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism (DBEDT) invites Hawaii companies to join the Hawaii Pavilion at FABEX (The World Food and Beverage Expo) Japan 2020 trade show, April 15 -17, 2020 in Tokyo, Japan. The Hawaii Pavilion will feature made in Hawaii food products to over 70,000 qualified food buyers from retail, food service, and restaurant sectors of the market.

Buyers at this event will favor companies who can fulfill and deliver sales orders that are compatible with domestic Japan purchasing norms and systems.

All food items presented at the FABEX 2020 Hawaii Pavilion must be registered and certified by Japan Customs and the Japan Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, for commercial food importation into Japan. Proof of import certification will be required for all food products displayed in the Hawaii Pavilion.

Exhibitors must be deemed export capable to participate. Exhibitors with existing Japan import agents are welcome to apply.

Estimated Booth Size: 3 meters x 2.5 meters (9.84 feet x 8.2 feet)

Participation Fee per company:

  • Shared half counter/booth: $500
  • Full Counter/booth: $1,000
