Hawaii Small Business Fair Continues to Attract Hundreds
Posted on Aug 26, 2014 in Helping Business, NewsOver 300 entrepreneurs, including people armed just with ideas as well as current business owners, converged on Honolulu Community College on Saturday, August 23rd, to gain a full-day’s worth of business knowledge. Organized and presented by the Hawaii Small Business Fair Planning Committee, this Fair offered 35 exhibits from various support agencies and lending institutions; several hours of one-on-one business counseling by SCORE; and 23 in-depth presentations from professionals and advisors.
The event was anchored by two keynote speakers, Quan Nguyen, President, Papa John’s Hawaii, and Danene Lunn – Fashion Designer/Creative Director of Manuheali‘i, who spoke about their personal experiences in starting and growing their respective businesses.
