Educators from China’s top schools will be part of the BAPSTE delegation for the six-day familiarization tour of Hawaii’s educational programs and cultural and technology resources. The Chinese delegates are eager to establish contacts with Hawaii schools and programs in order to achieve the long-range goal of promoting Hawaii as an excellent education destination to students in China seeking an international education experience.
“DBEDT is pleased to be collaborating with Study Hawaii to showcase outstanding educational programs in Hawaii,” said Dennis Ling, Administrator at DBEDT. “Hawaii is a safe, family-friendly location offering world-class programs and resources. Students and families from China have come to view that studying in the islands is a unique study abroad opportunity providing several benefits.”
BAPSTE representatives believe that there will be many possibilities for schools in China to cooperate with schools in Hawaii in the future.
