Business Advising Now Available For Entering Government Procurement Market

The Hawaii Small Business Development Center (SBDC) can help! The Hawaii SBDC was recently awarded a Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) subcontract from Hiʻilei Aloha and the Defense Logistics Agency, which is part of the Department of Defense.
Initially there will be three procurement advisors available to serve Hawaii businesses; one in Kona on the Big Island, and two in the Oahu Center. There are ninety-seven PTACs across the nation, comprising a national network of procurement professionals dedicated to providing businesses with:
- an understanding of government procurement requirements
- guidance on how to evaluate and respond to solicitations
- how to win government contracts
