Ad 2 Honolulu Accepting Applications for 2017-2018 Public Service Campaign
Posted on Aug 15, 2017 in Ad 2 Honolulu, CBED, News, Nonprofit, Press Release, Public Service Announcement(HONOLULU – August 7, 2017) Ad 2 Honolulu is calling all interested non-profit organizations to apply for a FREE public awareness campaign this year. The selected organization will receive a year-long campaign that includes marketing, public relations, creative executions and advertising in television, radio, print, and web. Notably, past public service campaigns have reached values at of $1 million.
In June, Ad 2 Honolulu won first place for their 2016-2017 Public Service Campaign for their campaign recipient, Re-use Hawaii (a nonprofit that reduces waste through reuse and recycling, preventing unnecessary construction debris from entering Hawaii’s landfills) at the Advertising Federation’s national conference in New Orleans, LA.
“Every year we get to work with such amazing organizations and people who really are making a positive impact in the community. We are very excited to start the process again and find this year’s public service campaign recipient. The best part is working with the organization, understanding who they are, what they are trying to communicate to the public and helping them get their message out, to build their organizations awareness” said Laura Ward, President Ad 2 Honolulu. “Our ideal applicant will support a purpose that addresses an issue and provides a solution to benefit the people of Hawaii.”
