Business Development and Support Division

In collaboration with the Hawaii Farm Bureau, DBEDT’s Community-Based Economic Development (CBED) Program and Enterprise Zone (EZ) Program will take part as an exhibitor at the Hawaii Coffee Association’s 24th Annual Conference and Cupping Competition to be held on July 25, 2019 through July 27, 2019 at the Ala Moana Hotel, Honolulu, Hawaii.

The conference will include workshops on soil health, fermentation with yeasts, roasting and cupping as well as informative speaker sessions. The conference will also host the Hawaii Coffee Championships including Barista and Brewer’s Cup competitions, touring of the Ko Hana Rum Company and the Hawaii Agriculture Research Center (HARC) in Kunia with a field tour of their ongoing research projects.
