Honolulu Community College to host Hawaii Small Business Fair

The Hawaiʻi Small Business Fair, a free one-day event at Honolulu Community College, will feature more than 35 workshops and exhibits from federal, state and local agencies and participating organizations.
“Launch Your Dreams into Reality” will be happening on Saturday, August 8, 2015 from 7:30 am – 2:00 pm at Honolulu Community College. The fair will feature free workshops, exhibits and experts giving tips and the steps needed to help get a small business started. The opening session, Secrets to Success, will feature Artisan Chocolatier Erin Kanno Uehara of Chocole’a and Pictures Plus Owner, Ken Untermann.
Attendees will enjoy a wide range of workshop topics that include: Copyrights, Patents & Trademarks, Financing Your Business, Professional Networking, and Tax Tips for Small Business, and much more. One-on-one business counseling will also be available.
Event participants include the Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism, State Department of Transportation, Small Business Development Center (SBDC), Mink Center for Business & Leadership, ʻEwa Beach Community Based Development Organization, Internal Revenue Service and the Business Action Center, among many others.
