Waianae Small Business Symposium

Department of Business Economic Development and Tourism LogoIn collaboration with the Waianae Economic Development Council, DBEDT’s Community-Based Economic Development (CBED) Program and Enterprise Zone (EZ) Program will take part as an exhibitor and conduct a workshop for small business financing and Hawaii Enterprise Zone benefits at the Waianae Small Business Symposium to be held on July 27, 2019 at the Kamehameha Schools Community Learning Center in Maili.

The Waianae Economic Development Council is a 501(c)(3) community development corporation with a mission to expand economic opportunities for community residents. The organization’s strategies include supporting start-up and existing businesses in need of development services and/or financing. Activities include weekly networking coffee hours, monthly business training workshops and a quarterly small business symposium. Symposiums offer general information, exhibits, presentations, workshops and other services focused on the needs of small business owners in our community.

The next symposium is scheduled for July 27, 2019 at the Kamehameha Schools Community Learning Center in Maili.

Registration will start at 8am, and programs start at 9am. The event will end no later than noon. The last symposium for 2019 will take place on October 19th, at the same location, and at the same times.
