Who is the intended audience?

  • Small business owners and local entrepreneurs looking to start a company.
  • The fair will help local businesses adapt to the emerging post-COVID economy.
  • They can get free advice on business strategy, marketing, access to capital, and the other essentials that help small businesses thrive and create jobs for our community.

How much does it cost?

Its free!

Where do I sign up for classes?

  • Sign up here
  • Classes are available on a first come, first served basis.
  • The deadline to sign up is September 12. If a class is full, participants may join the waitlist the day of the fair.

What exhibitors will be present?

  • See the confirmed list of Exhibitors here

Do I need to sign up ahead of time?

  • In order to secure your spot in your desired classes, participants must sign up by the September 12 deadline.
  • Visiting exhibitor booths does not require a sign up.
  • Walk-in spaces may be available for classes on a first come, first serve basis the day of the fair.

Will Food and Beverage be available?

  • Sama Sama, a vendor at Leeward Community College, will be providing light concessions available for purchase.
    • SAMA SAMA, founded by Lalaine and Eric, is a boba truck, cafe and catering business that offers boba, coffee, dessert and baked goods inspired by Filipino cuisine. The business not only aims to promote the culture through boba but prides itself from creating all syrups in-house using real ingredients. 
    • Forms of payment: cash, card, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay

Please note: ADA Access is available through Gate 1.  All other guests parking lot access through Gate 3

Who can participate as an exhibitor?

  • Government offices and departments
  • Non-Profit organizations with services for small business
  • SBA lenders

What will exhibitors be provided?

  • One 6ft table with two chairs
  • Wi-Fi is available
  • Note: there will be no access to electrical outlets

What will exhibitors need to bring?

  • Any promotional material to hand out to small business owners
  • Table cloth and weights to keep materials on your table
  • Note: exhibitors may not hang anything or have banners on walls

Do I need to sign up ahead of time?

Exhibitor registration and selection has been finalized for the 2023 Fair.  If you have an interest in exhibiting in the future, please contact john.j.greene@hawaii.gov
